2016 Electric Superbike CAD Model

2016 Electric Super Bike

This project involved reverse engineering the winning electric superbike from the European Championship, in conjunction with the University of Nottingham electric racing team. Crucial to further development of the bike and to maintain a highly competitive reputation whilst advancing state-of-the-art electric innovation, a highly precise realistic CAD model was required.

During the active race season of 2016, an eight week period was allocated by the clients for the CAD model to be realised. Working closely with the team in such a high pressure environment and dealing with complications inherent to a professional race team operating at championship level, the resulting outcome was a highly robust and accurate CAD model.

The visuals below are Keyshot renders of the aforementioned CAD model.

Below shows both bikes after winning first and second in the European MotoE Championship.
